Membership Experience Survey

Delta Chi has partnered with Dyad Strategies, an industry powerhouse in fraternity research and assessment, to join over 20 other international organizations to build and tabulate a four-year Membership Experience Survey (MES). The MES is a tool to help the International Fraternity, our active members, and advisors to understand their membership on a deeper level and identify behaviors to encourage a values-based brotherhood. Through this annual survey, Delta Chi will be able to improve our programs, provide stronger support, and understand what is needed to enhance the safe and thriving culture of Delta Chi.

2025 MES Opens February 1, 2025!

Check your email in February 2025 to complete your survey for your chapter. Responses must be submitted by March 5th to be eligible for prize incentives!

Membership Experience Survey FAQ's

Every undergraduate student member on a roster during the survey window should complete the Membership Experience Survey. The more members who complete the survey, the more information the Fraternity has to make Delta Chi the best it can be on both the local and the international level - and that your chapter/provisional chapter will have about your experience.

An individualized link to the online survey will be emailed to each member starting on February 1st! Members will receive regular reminders until they complete the survey. The survey will close on March 5th, and members should complete their survey when they have 25-35 minutes available. The Membership Experience Survey can be completed from a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

The best time to take the survey is during a chapter/provisional chapter meeting with all brothers completing it at the same time.

Survey responses are completely anonymous. The Fraternity will only have access to completion data. This means IHQ can inform chapter/provisional chapter leadership on which members still need to complete the survey during the time it is open. However, IHQ and chapter leaders will not have access to specific answers or responses from individual members. Any information provided by the chapters will not have punitive recourse.

  • Chapters/Provisional Chapters that participate in the Member Experience Survey (MES) will be eligible to win excellent prizes based on the chapter’s response rate. Chapters/Provisional Chapters have been divided into the same categories Delta Chi uses for Awards (the Red and Buff Divisions) to create the most opportunity for incentives. All chapters/provisional chapters that achieve the minimum response rate for incentives will be eligible.
  • Survey completion will be something our International Executive Committee evaluates when deciding on International awards like the President's Cup. Completing the survey just might make the difference in your chapter making the cut for our top chapters!
  • Every chapter/provisional chapter will receive a tailored report that analyzes their member's responses, and it will include comparison data for all years they have completed the survey. This will help local leadership and advisors steer their members in the right direction to meet future goals, create a values-based culture, and build a stronger Delta Chi brotherhood. It's important to know that all responses are completely anonymous and information will not have punitive recourse.
  1. First two chapters/provisional chapters in each division with a 90% or higher response rate or higher will win a Delta Chi pop-up tent!
  2. Chapters with a 80% or higher response rate at survey closure will be entered to win a Delta Chi branded pop-up banner or table cover. Five winners per division.
  3. Chapters with a 70% or higher response rate at survey closure will have their members who completed the survey entered to win a $25 gift card. Twenty winners total.

Every student member of the Fraternity on the chapter's roster (including associate and active members) will receive a unique link to their Membership Experience Survey during the month of February. Chapter/provisional chapter leadership will receive regular communication during the survey completion timeline regarding completion rates.
