Mayfield and Lanier Join International Headquarters Team

INDIANAPOLIS, IndianaThe Delta Chi International Fraternity is thrilled to introduce Tucker Mayfield (Huntsville ’23) as the Coordinator of Social Media & Communications and Nick Lanier (Sigma Nu) as the new Chapter Services Specialist to the International Headquarters team effective June 26, 2023.

Tucker Mayfield, taking on the role of Coordinator of Social Media & Communications, brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of experience in digital marketing and communication strategies. Mayfield received his Bachelor’s degree in marketing at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), where he not only discovered his interest in digital marketing but also a passion for the Delta Chi Fraternity. Mayfield served the UAH community as the Director of Fundraising for Dance Marathon and as his Chapter’s Public Relations Chair.

“When I joined Delta Chi, I never imagined that I would end up working with the incredible team at International Headquarters. I attribute much of my personal and professional success to the support and mentorship I received from my brothers at Delta Chi. Therefore, I am honored to continue giving back to the organization that gave so much to me.”

With his innovative mindset, Tucker will play a pivotal role in enhancing Delta Chi’s online presence and engaging with members, alumni, and the broader Delta Chi community through various social media platforms.

“We are delighted to have Tucker drive our online presence for the International Fraternity,” said Heather Lockwood, Chief Marketing & Experience Officer. “His creativity, passion for the Delta Chi experience, and digital skills will truly advance the Fraternity’s engagement across all digital platforms and beyond.”

In addition to Mayfield, Nick Lanier also joins the International Headquarters team. After serving as a Leadership Consultant for Sigma Nu Fraternity for two years, Lanier is taking on his new challenge at Delta Chi as the Chapter Services Specialist.

Lanier possesses a deep understanding of fraternity operations as well as a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all Delta Chi chapters. With his exceptional organizational skills and passion for serving others, Lanier will provide invaluable guidance and assistance to our chapters across the country, ensuring they thrive and embody the values of Delta Chi.

“I’m a firm believer in the immense value fraternal organizations can bring to young men, especially during a time in their lives where they may lack drive, direction, or purpose,” Lanier says of his new role. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to help advance the mission of Delta Chi and help create an environment where these emerging leaders can truly reach their potential.”

Lanier’s journey into the fraternal world began during his time at Midwestern State University where he served his Sigma Nu chapter as Vice President, Recruitment Chair, Academic Chair, and Chaplain. Lanier graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and a minor in digital media.

“Nick’s addition to the team is incredibly exciting. He’s going to play a critical role in ensuring our chapters have the support and resources they need to be successful,” Kassi Ward, Director of Field Operations, said.  “His past experiences, skill set, and dedication to advancing the fraternal movement are a perfect fit for this role. I am thrilled to have him join the Field Operations team.”
