INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Delta Chi Fraternity and Executive Director Jerod Breit are excited to welcome Kassi Ward to the International Headquarters (IHQ) staff as Director of Field Operations, effective January 26, 2022.

“The entire staff is excited to welcome Kassi to the team,” Breit said. “Her leadership and service-minded approach will help innovate the field operations of the Fraternity to better serve our members and growth. We are looking forward to having Kassi play a pivotal role in our forward momentum and in providing the best version of the college experience for our members.”

Ward joins IHQ following a five-year stint with Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity Headquarters, where she served as Associate Director of Collegiate Services, having also spent time as Assistant Director of Recruitment and Growth. Ward brings over seven years of experience in higher education to Delta Chi, having also served as a fraternity & sorority life programming assistant and graduate assistant at Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU).

“Kassi brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Field Operations team,” Heather Lockwood, Senior Director of Field Operations, said. “Her fresh perspective, passion for fraternity, and vision for developing a well-rounded co-curricular experience will elevate how the Fraternity can continue to meet the needs of our evolving Delta Chi membership. I am beyond excited for Kassi to be part of the Delta Chi director team. She is an outstanding addition to our staff and I am excited to see how she can help Delta Chi continue to be a leader within the fraternal industry.”

In her most recent role, Ward developed content and curriculum for officer training and leadership programs, executed annual chapter evaluations and awards processes, managed associate chapter chartering and education operations, and coordinated the overhaul of new and ongoing member education initiatives.

The Iowa-native earned multiple degrees from NWMSU, graduating with honors and bachelor degrees in Business Management and Organizational Psychology, later adding a master’s degree in Business Administration. While in school, Ward pursued opportunities in leadership development and social psychology by serving in various roles for the Office of Student Involvement, the Interfraternity Council, and the Department of Behavioral Sciences.

Ward is a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, an avid read and hiker, and a dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan.
