Delta Chi Awards 2019-20: Core Competency Awards (Advance Justice)
Core Competency Awards Advance Justice

It is the Fraternity’s goal to recognize and promote the achievements of our chapters, colonies, alumni, and advisors on a chapter, colony, regional, and international level. The awards and recognition program allows chapters and colonies the opportunity to showcase their outstanding or improved performance over the past academic year in each of the Fraternity’s core competencies.
New in 2020, the Core Competency Awards have been restructured so that each core focus falls under the umbrella of the Fraternity’s four core values: Promote Friendship, Develop Character, Advance Justice, and Assist in the Acquisition of a Sound Education.
The ‘Advance Justice’ Core Competency Award recognizes outstanding or improved performance based on average scoring in the areas of accountability, financial management, governance, health & safety, and housing (if applicable).
The Excellence with Distinction category recognizes chapter and colonies in each core competency that are exceeding standards and demonstrating mastery of the Fraternity’s standards of operational excellence.
The Excellence category recognizes chapters and colonies that are meeting, and sometimes exceeding, the Fraternity’s standards of operational excellence.
The Achievement category recognizes chapters and colonies that have made significant improvements and/or are approaching standards in the Fraternity’s standards of operational excellence.
