IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Delta Chi Fraternity is pleased to announce a new expansion beginning this fall.  The Fraternity will begin operations at Towson University in Maryland, an accomplished and notable public institution in which Delta Chi aims to create a positive and lasting legacy.

Founded in 1866 as Maryland’s first training school for teachers, Towson University consists of eight colleges and boasts a student population above 20,000.  The suburban campus produces the most teachers of any university in the state and offers programs in business and economics, fine arts and communications, education, health professions, liberal arts, and science and mathematics.  With over 300 student organizations, Towson plays host to more than 50 Greek organizations and is rich in opportunity for personal and professional development.
