DeLorme Hired as DCEF Director of Development

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Delta Chi Educational Foundation (DCEF) is delighted to welcome Lauren DeLorme as the Director of Development. Lauren brings extensive knowledge of nonprofits and fundraising expertise to the DCEF. In this role, she will guide the strategic direction of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts, focusing on major gifts and donor engagement. 

“Lauren has a tremendous depth and breadth of fundraising experience that will be extremely valuable to DCEF’s mission and will surely elevate the organization,” said Justin Sherman, Executive Director. 

Lauren has served as Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County and the National Employment Law Council. She recently worked as the Director of Capital Giving for the Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy where she developed and implemented a comprehensive capital campaign. Lauren is a proud member of Delta Gamma and recently volunteered as the Marketing and Communications Advisor for the Delta Gamma Chapter at the University of Alabama. She has a deep appreciation for Greek life and the Foundation’s mission to assist in the acquisition of a sound education. “I’m excited to embark on this journey with the Delta Chi Educational Foundation. This organization has impacted so many lives, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this culture,” said DeLorme. 

Lauren has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Juris Doctor degree from the Birmingham School of Law. She resides in Huntsville, Alabama with her husband and five wonderful children. She officially joined the DCEF team on May 15th.
