2022 Capitol Hill visits are tentatively scheduled to take place April 25-27, 2022. The goals of the visits are to both provide a premier student development experience and advance the legislative agendas developed by NPC and NIC.

We are asking members to nominate four students from different regions of the country that also exhibit special leadership characteristics. Based on your nominations, the NIC will then select two students per member organization and design Hill Visit teams that should be appealing to members of Congress and their staffs so they will accept the NIC’s meeting requests.

The characteristics the NIC is looking for are:

• Geographic Diversity: Nominate one student from each geographic area: Northeast, South, Midwest and West. The NIC will choose no more than one male and one female student per school.
• Leadership Experience: Nominate students who are leaders on campus and interested in government and/or politics. Preference will be given to student body presidents, student government leaders, Panhellenic Association or IFC presidents, chapter presidents, other chapter leaders and students who have interned on Capitol Hill.
• Year in School: Nominate students who are in their junior or senior year of college.

To nominate a student, please complete the form below (including uploading the student’s resume) by midnight EST on Monday, January 31. We expect to select student lobbyists by Friday, Feb. 18, and the deadline to register students and alumni will be Friday, March 4.
