The Delta Chi Fraternity is happy to announce the hiring of Alex J. Brown (South Dakota State ’08) as the Director of Alumni Engagement.

Alex joins Delta Chi staff from a seven-year career in student affairs, with a rich history of serving in newly-created positions and developing fledgling programs. Alex comes from The University of Minnesota as Student Governance Advisor, where he supported student governance groups and developed opportunities for these student leaders to become engaged alumni and cultivate an affinity for the University. He also served in previous roles at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Keene State College.

Alex has an extensive background in fraternity and sorority life advising and in leadership development. He is a longtime fraternal volunteer for a variety of organizations, including Delta Chi in many capacities (ABT member, RLC attendee, “A”s’ Academy volunteer, and assisting in curriculum and program development). He has a master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

“Alex brings a wealth of experience to this newly created position, and we are excited to have him drive our alumni engagement strategic initiatives and join our team,” stated Keith Shriver, Executive Director & CEO. Alex will start in this role on May 22, 2017.
