INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Delta Chi International Fraternity is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our history-we are establishing our first-ever active chapter at the prestigious University of Utah. This expansion marks a new era for Delta Chi as we become part of the vibrant Utah community during the fall 2024 semester.
The University of Utah is a public research university in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is one of two flagship institutions of the Utah System of Higher Education and the second-largest university in the state, with a total undergraduate enrollment of more than 26,000 students. Utah has seen its campus community grow in enrollment and reputation, landing the top spot on the Wall Street Journal’s list of the best public universities in the Western U.S.
More than 1,900 students make up the fraternity and sorority community at Utah, which includes 20 organizations across the IFC and Panhellenic councils. Utah fraternity and sorority members have completed over 14,000 hours of community service and donated more than $450,000 to philanthropic partners in recent calendar years.
At the University of Utah, Delta Chi has found a new home and a mutually beneficial partnership. We are excited to contribute to the university’s vibrant fraternity and sorority community while also benefiting from the academic and social opportunities it offers.
