The University of South Carolina (USC) is a public research university in Columbia, South Carolina. It is the flagship of the University of South Carolina System and the largest university in the state, with a total undergraduate enrollment of more than 27,000 students.  All of their system institutions strongly emphasize service — helping to build healthier, more educated communities in South Carolina and beyond. USC prioritizes student success and maintains an outstanding first-year program, University 101, which they pioneered in 1972. 

More than 7,300 students comprise the fraternity and sorority community at South Carolina, with 46 organizations across four councils. In the fall of 2022, 1,495 community members (more than 20%) earned a 4.0 GPA. USC fraternity and sorority members completed over 140,500 hours of community service and donated more than $1,263,000 to philanthropic partners in the 2022 calendar year. The community provides several leadership programs, including a Greek Leadership Conference & Retreat and New Member Summits for each council!
