Troy University is a public university in Troy, Alabama, founded as a normal school in 1887. The total undergraduate enrollment at Troy is 11,202 (fall 2023).

The Delta Chi Troy Chapter was originally founded in 1966 and has initiated over 1,000 members. In the spring of 2021, the chapter was closed for violation of the Delta Chi Risk Management Policies relating to hazing.

In the years following the chapter’s closure, Delta Chi Fraternity staff have worked in partnership with the university staff to plan and prepare for a successful return to campus. Delta Chi is excited to continue this partnership and looks forward to returning to campus in the spring of 2026.

More information about how to get involved and support the chapter’s return will be shared in the fall of 2025. Additional information about the timing and how to refer potential Founding Fathers will also be available later this year.
