Immediate Past “AA” Patrick Alderdice, Ball State ’92, will serve as an ex officio, non-voting member of the Board of Regents.
“It is an honor and a privilege to have been elected as the 55th “AA” of the Delta Chi Fraternity,” said Bill.
Bill has served the Fraternity in numerous volunteer leadership roles, including “CC” Emeritus, member of the Order of the White Carnation, Ritualist, Regent, Vice Regent, Alumni Board of Trustees President, Chapter Volunteer, and various undergraduate leadership positions.

Greg Caufman, Virginia Tech ’95 “CC” International Secretary

Greg has served as Regent for the Mid-Atlantic Region since 2022. He also chaired the Qualifications Review Committee in 2022 and 2024 and currently serves as chair of the Fraternity’s Governance Committee, where he led the first substantive changes to Delta Chi’s governance structure in more than 60 years. Throughout his years of service, Caufman has supported the Virginia Tech, George Mason, and Ferrum Chapters in several roles, including “BB” Chapter Advisor and Alumni Board of Trustees President. He also served on Virginia Tech’s Fraternity and Sorority Advisory Board and is a founding member of the Virginia Blue Ridge Alumni Chapter.

John Shelby, Sacramento ’86 “DD” International Treasurer
John was named “DD” Emeritus in 2022 and was selected for membership in the Order of the White Carnation in 2016. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Barrister Capital Corporation. His service to Delta Chi also includes more than 30 years of leadership as a Housing Fund chair and board member.
The newly elected officers were formally installed during the Convention’s closing banquet and assumed their responsibilities immediately. The Executive Committee serves as Delta Chi’s volunteer leadership team and governance body. Together with six elected Regents, the officers comprise the Board of Regents, which provides strategic oversight and guidance for the Fraternity’s long-term growth and success.
