Delta Chi Announces Expansions at Purdue University

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Delta Chi International Fraternity is excited to announce we will be returning to Purdue University in the fall of 2024. Delta Chi rejoins the Purdue community after a decade of growth. Initially expanding to Purdue in 1927, the Fraternity spent almost 100 years on campus and has initiated almost 2,100 members since its founding.

Purdue University is a public land-grant research university in West Lafayette, Indiana. It is the Purdue University System’s flagship campus, the second-largest university in the state, with a total undergraduate enrollment of more than 39,000 students.

At Purdue, more than 6,000 students are part of the fraternity, sorority, and cooperative community (FSCL), a testament to the vibrant Greek life on campus. This community, which represents about 20% of the student population, is guided by Purdue’s FSCL core values of scholarship, service, philanthropic giving, leadership development, and brotherhood/sisterhood/siblinghood. These values align perfectly with Delta Chi’s principles, making Purdue an ideal home for our newest chapter.

At Purdue University, Delta Chi has truly found another outstanding partner in our effort to prioritize and promote the growth of our organization.

Alumni interested in supporting our newest chapter can contact Nolan Spaenhower, Coordinator of Volunteer Engagement. If you want to learn more about the expansion project, please contact Alex Hart, Director of Field Operations.
