INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Delta Chi Fraternity and Executive Director Jerod Breit are excited to welcome the addition of Alex Hart as the Director of Field Operations, effective September 16, 2021.

“I couldn’t be more happy to welcome Alex to the team,” Breit said. “His innovative drive, professional outlook and personality make him a great fit for our team. We are all excited to see what Alex can do to continue making Delta Chi better every day.”

In this role, Hart will serve Delta Chi by overseeing the operations and management of Delta Chi chapters, identifying chapter operational needs and deficiencies while coordinating solutions through chapter coaching. He will gather, organize, and present chapter performance data while developing processes for continued positive development.

“Alex brings a fresh perspective, new ideas, and a passion for advancing fraternity to our team,” Heather Lockwood, Senior Director of Field Operations, said. “He will do amazing things for Delta Chi and I am excited to see how he can enhance our established process for supporting our chapters, members, alumni, and campus partners.”

A native of Nebraska, Hart joins Delta Chi after serving as the Director of Growth at Sigma Alpha Mu Headquarters, managing the growth department and oversight of expansions, chapter development, and chapter recruitment support. He was awarded the Micaela A. Isler Headquarters Partner of the Year award for his work in restarting the Sigma Alpha Mu Chapter at West Virginia University.

Prior to his time at Sigma Alpha Mu, Hart began his professional career at Sigma Tau Gamma, serving as a Recruitment and Growth Coordinator and Chapter Services Coordinator.

Hart earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. He was a founding father and chapter president of Sigma Tau Gamma and was recognized as the Fraternity and Sorority Life Outstanding Chapter President, going on to be inducted into the Sigma Tau Gamma Noble Man Hall of Fame.

In his free time, Hart is a sports enthusiast and enjoys watching and playing sports. He enjoys attending Indianapolis Colts football games and Indy Eleven soccer matches and is actively involved as a volunteer with the Indiana Sports Corp and the Special Olympics of Indiana.
