“AA” International President Patrick Alderdice named 2026 receipent of NIC Gold Medal Award
“AA” International President Patrick Alderdice, Ball State ’92, has been named the recipient of the 2026 North American Interfraternity Conference’s (NIC) prestigious Gold Medal Award. The Gold Medal is the highest honor the NIC can bestow and recognizes lifelong service to the interfraternal community.
Throughout his professional career, Patrick has climbed many mountains while devoting his time, talents, and resources to Delta Chi and the broader Greek community. Under his volunteer leadership, Delta Chi created some of its most notable, award-winning programs including the Carnegie Scholars Program, Dream Manager Program, and the Regional Leadership Academy. The fraternity also experienced impressive growth during his tenure, expanding to its highest undergraduate membership in history.
Alderdice is the fourth Delta Chi member to receive the NIC Gold Medal. Previous recipients include: Past “AA” Greg Hauser, Michigan State ’75 (2005); Executive Director Emeritus Ray Galbreth, Missouri ’69 (2012); and Dr. Richard N. McKaig, Ball State ’66 (2022).
