DELTA CHI DALE CARNEGIE SCHOLARS 2026

Dale Carnegie was founded in 1912, inspired by one man’s belief in the power of self-improvement. When Dale Carnegie began teaching business classes in 1912, he undoubtedly had no idea the global impact he would have on the world. He went on to write “How to Win Friends and Influence People,” which has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. It is one of the best-selling books of all time. With countless accolades and over 100 years of industry-leading training and development, Dale Carnegie programs carry with them a level of prestige and proven results that make them a tremendous value to our members and their potential employers. Dale Carnegie programs inspire its participants to make positive change through action which makes this the perfect fit for Delta Chi. As a resume-driven, leadership development-focused social Fraternity, we challenge our members to be Men of Action and live our values of Promoting Friendship, Developing Character, Advancing Justice, and Assisting in the Acquisition of a Sound Education every day.

The Delta Chi Dale Carnegie (DXDC) Scholars program is a North-American Infraternity Conference Laurel Wreath award-winning premiere leadership development experience open to the collegiate members of Delta Chi.

Scholars will participate in the Dale Carnegie Scholars program through virtual introductory sessions and in-person at one of four Regional Leadership Academies (RLA) held in January 2026 (click here for more information about RLA). Each chapter/provisional chapter is expected to declare a scholar to represent their chapter within the Dale Carnegie Scholars Program, and in some cases, multiple scholars may participate from a chapter/provisional chapter as cohort space allows.

Each Delta Chi chapter/provisional chapter “A” is required to declare their Dale Carnegie Scholar. This scholar represents their chapter, Region, and the International Fraternity in their pursuit to develop their skills in confidence, communication, interpersonal development, teamwork, leadership, and effective attitude management. Chapter “A”s must confirm their 2025 Dale Carnegie Scholar by 11:59 pm EST on Wednesday November 5, 2025.

A Delta Chi Dale Carnegie Scholar should be:

  • In good standing with their chapter and institution
  • Currently an initiated, undergraduate member of the Delta Chi Fraternity who has not already been a Dale Carnegie Scholar and will not be the chapter/provisional chapter “A” in January 2026
  • Committed to growing as a leader
  • Can commit to attending their January 2026 RLA and the required virtual introductory session.

Delta Chi members who participate in the Dale Carnegie Scholars program have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in a world famous Dale Carnegie course that is proven to effectively impact their skill sets!
  • Bolster their résumé with Dale Carnegie certifications
  • Enhance their soft skills for their future career pursuits
  • Be more prepared for life beyond college and transform their approach to confidence, communication, and leadership
  • Demonstrate leadership, develop flexibility, energize communication, articulate ideas, manage stress, and enhance relationships
  • Be a part of a cohort experience that promotes connections and networking opportunities
  • Over the three years of the current Delta Chi and Dale Carnegie partnership, scholars have rated higher on their membership experience related to speaking confidence, political skill, and sense of duty. These are important and impactful ways to elevate your experience as a Delta Chi!

In order to represent their chapter as the Dale Carnegie Scholar, Scholars must commit to the following:

  • Confirm their appointment as a Delta Chi Dale Carnegie Scholar by November 25, 2025.
  • Attend one virtual introductory session with other Scholars in their RLA session, held in early January.
  • Complete virtual pre-work on their own in Dale Carnegie’s online platform, eVolve.
  • Register and attend their Regional Leadership Academy (RLA) in-person.

Every chapter/provisional chapter “A” is responsible for declaring their Dale Carnegie Scholar. The “A” can submit their Dale Carnegie Scholar (and declare additional scholars for consideration if cohort space allows) through the 2026 Dale Carnegie Scholar Declaration Form.

The declaration form will be open beginning on October 1, 2025 and will close by 11:59 p.m. EST on November 5, 2025.
