Please know that the Delta Chi General Fraternity is with heavy heart and is profoundly sad with the news of the death of Missouri Chapter Brother Tyler Romaker on Friday. It is especially hard on all of us when a life is ended so short of its full potential and realization. Hopefully together we can find some comfort through the Bonds of our Brotherhood and the eternal Higher Court of which he has now entered. He has been called home by the Heavenly Father. We must reach out and support one another and Tyler’s family, especially his dad, Roger Roamer, a Delta Chi alumnus from our Embry-Riddle chapter in Florida. Use this time to express your love and support for one another and be patient with one and all, as each works to meet his own challenge of pain and grief. It is times like this when Delta Chi becomes so important and critical to its extended family, and shows the world a side of Brotherhood that is often ignored.
Please know that the General Fraternity and the International Headquarters are here for you to support you in any way we can. I would ask that you proceed to drape the Missouri Chapter charter, in Tyler’s memory, for a minimum of 30 days, in accordance with Delta Chi Law. Thank you for being there for one another and for being a part of Delta Chi.
