Mike Carroll – Volunteer Appreciation Week

Mike Carroll, Auburn ’71, has given back to Delta Chi in a variety of ways and currently serves as a Foundation Director for the Delta Chi Educational Foundation (DCEF) and is the Treasurer for the Alumni Board of Trustees at Georgia Tech.  His impressive resume includes serving on the Board of Regents as the “AA” (International President), “CC” (International Secretary), and “DD” (International Treasurer), as well as serving as the Foundation Vice President and Foundation Treasurer.

When I met Mike, he was the “CC” and inspired me to do that one day.  Anything I have done as an alumnus in this organization can be directly attributed to that meeting 30 years ago.”

– Steve Bossart, Kent State ’90

Carroll exemplifies kindness and love for the Fraternity and its members.  He has been involved with chapters for well over three decades.  His home is always open to members and he is always quick to make financial contributions when funding is needed.  He has been labeled as a, “Southern gentleman,” and is a great role model for others.  In his own right, Carroll has overcome adversity, yet he continues to keep Delta Chi at the forefront of his life.

I don’t know if there is a volunteer role that Mike hasn’t served in during his time with Delta Chi. Mike is one of those Brothers that inspires others to be a better member every day. His dedication to the advancement of Delta Chi is impressive. I’m grateful to Mike for his lifetime of service and his continued efforts to ensure a bright future for Delta Chi and our members.”
