Delta Chi Announces Creighton University Expansion for the Spring 2020 Semester

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Delta Chi International Fraternity and Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska are excited to announce the return of Delta Chi on campus, beginning in the spring 2020 semester.

“[We] are looking for an organization that is values-centered, is committed to educating and forming men in a holistic manner, has a strong academic and service-oriented foundation, provides an experience to our men that is engaging, and has a headquarters that is willing to partner with the University and IFC,” Katie Kelsey, Director of the Student Leadership and Involvement Center, said.

Originally part of the Greek community in 1970 and again in 1987, Delta Chi returns to campus for the first time since 1995. Creighton boasts nearly 9,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in nine schools and colleges that offer programs in arts and sciences, law, business, and health sciences. Creighton ranks in the top third of U.S. News & World Report magazine’s college rankings for national universities and is recognized as a leader in service, sustainability, and value by The Princeton Review and Kiplinger’s Personal Finance.

Founded in 1878, Creighton is one of 27 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. Delta Chi joins an active, service-driven community that boasts over 1.1 million annual student service hours and over 14 million annual faculty/staff service hours. Currently, there are five fraternities and eight sororities that make up the Greek community that values leadership, service, scholarship, and personal development.
