| Delta Chi Leadership Consultant Program
What is a Leadership Consultant?
Leadership Consultants (or LCs for short) are Delta Chi alumni who visit chapters and colonies on a scheduled basis to meet with members of the Fraternity and with college/university personnel to improve the experience we call "Delta Chi".
Specific responsibilities include: meeting with officers, committee chairmen, and members asking for a one-on-one meeting; working with ABT and House Corporation members, "BB"s and other support alumni, and college/university advisors; presenting lecture and seminar discussions on topics such as recruitment, membership education, and chapter management; and assisting in regional and international programs and conferences.
Included in the job description of a Leadership Consultant is the opportunity to work on expansions and re-colonizations. Expansion work begins with recruitment, but includes training an excited group of young men on how to be an effective Delta Chi chapter from scratch. When not traveling, such as during the summer months, Leadership Consultants are trained on a variety of fraternity and personal development topics, assist in the creation and revision of essential programming (e.g., BRIEFs, manuals, various articles), and help staff Delta Chi programs like Conventions and Leadership Colleges.
